Photographs from Games of Wednesday Night Gamers of Alexandria

I decided to post a collection of photographs I have from various games the club has played the last two years.  I had tried to publish every week descriptions and photographs but found that hard.  Sometimes I did not take photographs other times I did not feel up to do a blog entry.

So I decided to put up a selection of photographs from various games we have played.  Not going to do much description about the actual games this is more just to show the variety of games the club plays.  A number of periods and scales are represented.

Looking to lead the wagons past the Zulu’s towards the other end of board.  6mm Zulu’s are hard to see.

Not sure the Zulu game was realistic as I doubt the British forces ever could have made it off the board in time.  I did not think they had enough turns but it was a fun game.

Del wanted to do some 40K and brought his new space ships to play with.  A new experience for Rick and I.  Rick played imperial and I had a big Ork ship.

Ork’s won a victory which was a change for me.  Still interesting to play a new period.

Del has really done a nice job painting up all these Union and Confederate figures.   Not to mention the nice scenery.  I know that Del is looking for new members to join the club.  We have WWII, Boxer Rebellion, Napoleonic, ACW, Franco-Prussian War, Vikings, Saxons, Ottomans and Poles, 1866 Austrians, Russo-Japanese War.  I know I forgetting things as individual members have Indian Mutiny, Wild West and WWI figures as well.  So if you are interested drop a line to the blog and we can give you directions so you can come by and give it a try.
