Frustration

As I indicated in a past post I needed to expand the number of figures I have painted and based for my World War I project.  So I had finished painting another stand of German artillery and the first of my French North African troops.  Then I decided to paint some more French artillery as I had bought a little while back another pack of them to expand my artillery.  I was going to make them the corp artillery or something of the like.

So I had some artillery figures primed and ready to go.  Then I look for my notes on the colors I used to paint all the French troops I have up to this point.  I can’t find them anyplace.  I picture it in my mind but can’t find them.  I went through the house several times over but no good.  I spent time writing down everything so I would paint the figures the same.  I have everything for the German troops and the French North African troops.  Nothing for the other French troops.

I have a suspicion about it and it is not a nice one but not sure I can do anything about it.  I finally stopped searching after looking again and again through the rooms it made me tired and frustrated.  😢

The wife just thinks I should start over and I suppose I will and paint from scratch and write it down again and hope I pick the same colors as before on the other figures.  If I don’t pick the same colors I guess I will just write it off as something I can’t do anything about.  Still feels like I should not be having this problem.

My blogging goal which has nothing to do with my current frustration is to post the information on the local clubs battle of Lund 1676 fought during the Scanian War.  It was a four night battle for the club and was a blood bath.  I also want to post photographs from various games I played in during 2019 many from the local club I did not blog about at the time.
